Current Characters: None
IC Info
Name: Theodore "Teddy" Altman, AKA Emperor Dorrek VIII, AKA Hulkling
Canon: Marvel Comics Universe 616
Age: 22
Appearance:
Kree-Form - As a Kree, Teddy looks indistinguishable from a human on the surface level. This is his most commonly used form. He's six foot even, blue eyes, blonde hair, and lightly tanned skin. Like this he's no more muscled looking than your average college basketball player, but he's clearly very fit and takes care of himself. When the spirit moves him this can change due to his abilities as a shape-shifter. He is capable of looking however he wishes, and this is just his most comfortable form.
Skrull-Form - When Teddy shifts to his Skrull form his picks up a foot in height, more if he's really angry. Teddy's skin goes green, his muscles increase, and depending on the situation, that's only the start. When there isn't an immediate threat he's just tall, broad, muscled and green (though his hair remains blonde), with strange, armor-like plates on his shoulders. Anger him, though, and there's a lot more that happens. Large claws, the armor plating spreading, and possibly even Teddy picking up even more height. And, in a pinch, Teddy has been known to do things like spread wings. Large ones that will allow him to fly. And there's a lot of force behind his punches too. Better not to upset him.
Canon Point: Post Incoming
Background: Here
Personality:
Weaknesses/Temptations:
-Someone else taking over responsibility from him. Teddy never wanted to be a ruler, never wanted to be in charge of people, never wanted lives of a people on his shoulders.
-Anger issues. While Teddy doesn't like to believe it and wouldn't see it as something to be guilty enough to count as a sin, he can be triggered into violent outbursts that far outstrip the situation he's in.
-Regaining lost friends/loved ones. Even though Teddy's been burned before by the suggestion that he could have people he loved back, he could be very easily led astray by mimicry of those he's lost.
-Contentment. Offering him a chance to just stay out of things and be happy will distract him and absolutely.
-Protecting Billy. Serious weakness, there is not a lot Teddy wouldn't do to protect Billy, including seriously hurting or killing other people.
-Given time, Teddy is likely to get tempted at the full use of his Skrull advantages. The idea that he could be or do anything with his form without people fearing him or judging him and using it for his own ends could lead him aside.
Sins:
-Cowardice
-Neglect of Duty
-Failure to Prevent Deaths
-Starting a War
-Attempted Genocide
-Failing to stop potential genocide (indirectly)
-Extreme Violence
-Assault
-Lying
-Lack of Trust
-Keeping Secrets
-Failing to save his mother

Background: Here
Personality:
- Teddy is a people pleaser. He has been known to alter his appearance and behavior to try and fit in with people, which nearly gets him in trouble from time to time. This is something that he's starting to grow out of.
- While willing to get into physical confrontations, Teddy can be really nervous about emotional confrontations with people that matter to him, which leads to him hiding things that are better said or putting himself at risk by going out to do heroic actions without backup. More than a few rocky points in his relationship with Billy are connected to his nervousness with emotional confrontation.
- Protective with a capital P. Teddy is prone to throwing himself in front of other people to protect them, especially given the fact that of his team he's almost always the most durable. This sense of protectiveness helped guide him to heroics, and lead him to keep at it even after he agreed to leave the life.
- Teddy is often gnawed at by guilt over what he has or hasn't done. Guilt over not trusting his boyfriend, guilt over not going with the Kree or Skrull, and then later guilt over the decisions he's started to make as the Emperor of the Alliance.
- Super Nerd. When Teddy is INTO a thing, he gets REALLY into it, and can be slightly obsessive. He's a huge fan of comics and super heroes, and this partially manifests as him being able to recognize even niche heroes from his world. Oh, and he has Super Moderator privileges on his world's wikipedia for Heroes: Heropedia. This may have to do with a Skrull racial trait of attention to detail.

-Attempted Genocide

-Extreme Violence
-Assault
-Lying
-Lack of Trust

Powers/Abilities:
- Shape-shifting: Teddy's Skrull heritage means he's a naturally talented shape-shifter. He can, by will alone, alter his body to look like any humanoid he has seen before, including being able to mimic their voice, body language, and mannerisms such as stride. That being said, these are likely to be seen through by people who are either more familiar with him or the target because, unlike most Skrull, he wasn't specifically trained to perform this to its fullest extent. He cannot use this ability to mimic powers, save for those that derive from someone altering their physical form or shape. Can he mimic Mr. Fantastic's stretchiness? Yep. Can he climb up walls like Spider-Man? Absolutely not. Just about the only person he could mimic and have a good chance of fooling people for a while would be Billy Kaplan, and even that would require people that don't know Billy very well or who aren't watching closely for him to get away with it. As an additional part of his shape-shifting he can shift between his normal, human-looking Kree form to his more combat oriented and obvious Skrull form. In his Skrull form he's larger, more heavily muscled, and his shoulders are armored. Oh, and he's green. See the appearance section for more information. Finally, he's also prone to shifting for combat edges, such as manifesting large, leathery wings more than capable of holding him in independent flight and gliding, and being able to carry another person. He can also armor his arms more heavily, and form large green claws out of his hands. His changes are only limited to his imagination and a reasonable maintaining of mass (though this isn't true of all Skrull). So turning himself into a large dragon? No. Manifesting a number of tentacles? Yeah that's probably doable.
- Superhuman Strength: Due to his Kree heritage, Teddy is stronger than a human would be. While the specific limits of his strength are never tested, he has held up falling rubble, thrown cars, and crushed guns in his bare hands. So quite strong, but probably not strong enough to easily bring down a building on his own.
- Superhuman Durability: When actively shifting his body into his Skrull form, Teddy is capable of hardening his skin not unliked armored or bony plates. In the past this has let him, when properly in this form, to shake off bullets, catch blades without cutting his hand, and otherwise survive beatings. This is by no means invulnerability. When in his Kree form Teddy's no more durable than any normal human. When combined with his healing factor and his Skrull-form, Teddy's a rather effective tank for his party, able to soak up damage and put himself in harm's way to shelter others.
- Healing Factor: This is again due to Teddy's Skrull heritage, and tied into his shape-shifting. Skrull are capable of healing from severe injuries. Teddy has within a matter of minutes been able to heal broken and smashed limbs, recover from bullet and stab wounds, and even able to survive being shot in the head. All of this is passive, something that his body actively does as a defense mechanism. He has survived vivisection due to his body actively moving his organs away from danger while he was unconscious, as well as rapid healing. None of this means he doesn't feel pain, and physical pain can still render him unconscious. (For purposes of this game I welcome mod suggestions on the best degree to reduce this ability so as not to minimize the effect of punishments and other in game situations.)
Items:
- Cellphone full of contacts and photographs.
- Crown of the Emperor of the Alliance. (only fits him while in Skrull-form)
