He might know that, but Tommy still doesn't always feel it. He's always felt expendable, and then when everyone but him could move on without a team, and then formed new ones ... even though they'd found him, he just never shook that certainty. In his mind, he was pretty much everyone's most acceptable loss left. Not that they wanted him to go, but if it came to a choice, he was the write off. So it was the lens he looked at it through, even when he didn't realize he was doing it or know he still felt that way.

It didn't matter though, since Teddy was pulling him up and that abruptly just became Tommy's focus again. "Breaking or not, doesn't mean you might not want a break," he said. But he was pretty sure Teddy didn't and Tommy wanted back inside him too. The bed, at least, was dry and clean for them, however fucked up that was.

Tommy flipped their roles, abruptly wrapping arms around Teddy and speeding them over to the bed playfully. Fuck it. They were doing this - had done this. Couldn't seem to stop. And were stuck here. They might as well not fight the parts they could enjoy, right? So it was playful, and he dropped onto the bed, pulling Teddy down with him and kissing him again. "Wanna ride me this time?"
