That was what Emperor Dorrek had been told when he was a teenaged prince and found himself expected to take the first member of his imperial harem. One person of each people of the empire, on the idea that some day he would choose his consort from among them, would sire a child and heir upon them. It was his duty, and the people's they ruled would know they were close to power through the subject who might one day rule next to him.

The problem with it all was that Dorrek found the whole thing repugnant. Most of those given to his 'imperial consorts' were women, which was a problem for him. Which made every instance of these moments in the court tiring. Here he sat, upon his throne, awaiting the presentation of the newest offerings for his harem. He would have to choose one to take into his family, someone he would no doubt eventually send back to the others, trying not to feel disgusted by the whole process.

"You are before his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Dorrek-Vell. Kneel before his splendor and know you are close to greatness," his herald calls out to the assembled and Dorrek tried not to yawn.

Now here was a consort who was clearly interested in their duties. Dorrek drags him closer and kisses him, hard. Of course his tongue is going to take that invitation, the chance to pillage all the wonders of that pliant body.

There's a lot that is uncertain for Tighnari still but with this he can be resourceful and it's not exactly a hardship to him either. He moans into the kiss, tongue sliding against Dorrek's as he arches into him, pressing his body flush against the other's as he continues to rock against the other's thigh, working himself up and the movements perhaps do have the added benefit of letting him rub against the other's crotch in subtle strokes.

They aren't nearly as subtle as the man might think. Dorrek chuckles in delight and finally moves. Moves so that he's rolling Tighnari below him, reaching so he can push the light garment up his thigh.

"What a pretty, wicked little one," Teddy purrs happily. "You have your hearts set on a prize don't you?"

Tighnari’s body is light and his tail swishes out to the side as his ears flicker as he’s settled beneath the others larger body. His legs fall further open, feeling the fabric sliding upward. The other will find that Tighnari’s body is soft and wet and welcoming for him. There’s a praciticality to his decisions but that doesn’t mean he’s not attracted. He is and he’s also aroused.

“Have I earned one?”

"Do you think you've earned one?" Dorrek asks, his gaze serious as he strokes over Tightnari's thigh. "Was a massage enough?"

"It depends on how much the headache was troubling you," Tighnari replies, shivering at the large hand on his thigh. He rocks against his thigh still, breath a tad heavier. His hand slid between them, cupping the other's groin and feeling out what he finds there, the size, the shape, how hard it is.

The good thing about being a shapeshifter is that really, you're packing whatever you and your partner want. But his dick was large, hard, and definitely impressive. The Emperor hums in delight over the touch.

"I think I've got a different ache troubling me."

Tighnari strokes him, tilting his head to press kisses along the other's neck.

"I can take care of that ache too, however and as much as you like."

What a wonderful offer. Dorrek smiles and grinds against the man's thigh. Yeah, that works.

"I intend to let you scratch all my itches tonight."

Tighnari smirks. He rocks against him and perhaps by now Dorrek has felt that Tighnari’s anatomy isn’t all the typical male’s.

His hands move to start undressing the emperor, his own gauzy outfit will come off with little effort itself.

Yes, he is picking up on that. And he wouldn't normally go for that. But neither of them are denying that Tighnari is a man, so does it matter?

"Are you particularly partial to this outfit?" he asks, thoughtful even as he lets those hands rove over him.

"Not at all," Tighnari laughs, after all it's what he'd been dressed up in by the people that had brought him here to be presented to the emperor.

"Well then," he says, and his claws curl into the fabric to shred it off of Tighnari's body.

Tighnari lays naked in the bed after their first coupling. He’s sweaty and messy but even more so exhausted. His breathing has returned to normal and his tail thumps lightly against the bed. He should get up to go to the bathroom but it seems like an awful lot of work.

“You’re quite good,” he hums. “Though, I will be needing another set of clothes.”

"I have many abilities that allow me to be more skilled."

Most of it the shapeshifting. Though the strength is good too. Like now. It helps him get to his feet, scoop the other into his arms, and carry him away from the bed.

"I will summon some, though I find I like you dressed as you are now in this moment."

"I hope to discover them all," Tighnari says with a laugh and as the other gathered him up he wraps his arms around his neck and his hears rest downward as he noses against the other's jaw.

"I can stay like this as often as you wish then," his tail sways as he's carried, all but purring in contentment.

"But then others might get a chance to look at you, and I would not approve," Dorrek says. "I can't have my consorts catching other eyes."

Tighnari laughs softly, shaking his head. “So you’ve already become so possessive.”

"You are my possession. Why should I not be?"

An emperor with his consort? Tighnari would be lucky if he was ever seen by a non-servant again.

Tighnari just laughs and relaxes further, comfortable and warm in his arms wherever the other might take him.

"You were not so eager to accept me earlier."

"I did not believe you fit the needs of a consort representing Earth."

And there it is, he carries the man into the bathroom and carries him to the edge of a huge, beautiful, and very deep tub.

"Is a soak acceptable?"

[tighnauri]

“Mm,” Tighnari chuckles at the answer and he supposes that he is seen as more than fit now as he’s brought to the large tub that looks luxurious and comfortable.

“Very.” He nuzzles the other affectionately, his tail swaying.

Wonderful. Dorrek lowered the man into the tub and immediately moved to turn the taps on to start water flowing.

Tighnari relaxes and watches as the other turns the water on. “You’re really handsome.”
